Melani Griffith has nearly 25 years experience in the cable and telecommunications industries. At GFiber she serves as the VP of Customer Engagement, leading Sales, Marketing and External Communications. 

Before joining GFiber she was the Senior Vice President of Consumer Channels at Rogers Communications. During her time at Rogers she served as the company’s national head of consumer sales, responsible for customer acquisition and upsell of all wireless and wireline products and services, as well as oversight for Rogers’ 748 branded retail stores, four call centers, field sales organization, and third party partnerships.

Prior to joining Rogers, Melani was Executive Vice President of Business Development and a Board Member at Penthera Partners, Inc., where she was chiefly responsible for driving the consumer revenue and product roadmap strategy. Before Penthera, she spent seven years at Insight Communications as senior vice president of programming and video product management. At Insight, Melani was responsible for negotiating all of the content deals for linear, video on demand and broadband as well as creating and executing on the video product strategy.

Prior to Insight, Melani ran the eastern division for affiliate sales at AMC Networks and was an account executive in advertising sales for Fox Cable Networks.

Melani currently serves on the board for CTAM (Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing) and has previously served on the national board of directors of Women in Cable Telecommunications. She’s been selected as one of 12 “Wonder Women” by WICT and Multichannel News, and one of the “Top 50 to Watch” by Cable World.

Melani received her BA from UCLA and MBA from Columbia Business School. She is the mother to three daughters (including one set of twins).
