Janice Arouh’s network distribution experience spans more than three decades.

Arouh has served as President of Network Distribution for Allen Media Group since joining the company in May 2010, reporting to Byron Allen, Founder, Chairman, and CEO. In her role, Arouh oversees the distribution growth and revenue including securing retransmission and network carriage agreements for Allen Media Broadcasting, Weather Group, Local Now, and the Allen Media Group’s twelve television networks some including THE WEATHER CHANNEL, THE WEATHER CHANNEL EN ESPAÑOL, JUSTICECENTRAL.TV, COMEDY.TV, RECIPE.TV, THEGRIO TELEVISION NETWORK, and HBCU GO reaching nearly 275 million households. Also, she has embraced the dynamic change in the industry’s evolving landscape leading the company’s Local Now and FAST CHANNEL distribution strategy on SmartTVs, AVOD, and Connected TV platforms. Plus, she spearheaded the launch of SPORTS.TV, the company’s AVOD streaming service dedicated to passionate sports enthusiasts.

Additionally, Arouh has an extensive track record of negotiating affiliation carriage agreements in various distribution and affiliate marketing roles at Showtime, FOX, TVGuide/Gemstar, and Hallmark Channels. She was also an integral member of the original FX Networks distribution launch team for NewsCorp's entry into basic cable. Earlier in her career, Janice served as an advertising account executive for leading brands including McDonald’s and PespiCo.

Arouh serves as a member of the Allen Media Group board of directors. She holds many distinctive industry awards and tributes. Ms. Arouh has been the recipient of the WICT Southern California Lifetime Achievement Award. She was inducted into the 2008 Class of Wonder Women by Multichannel News as well as the Cablefax Sales Hall of Fame. Also, Cablefax recognizes her annually among the Cable Top 100 executives and as one of the Most Powerful Women executives in cable. Recently she was inducted into the Class of 2022 Cable Pioneers. She was awarded the Lupus Los Angeles Woman of Achievement and is a board advisor.

Janice and her husband of 32 years have two amazing children who are following in her entertainment and media footsteps. She relishes spending time with family and friends, playing an occasional round of golf, and is a passionate admirer of landscaping and
architecture.
