Caroline Beasley was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Beasley Media Group, LLC on January 1, 2017. In her role, she is responsible for leading the company’s 61 radio properties, digital operations and esports division. Ms. Beasley has been a Director of the Company since she joined the organization back in1983.

The media executive currently serves as Chair of the BMI Board of Directors. She is a past Joint Board Chair of the National Association of the Broadcasters (NAB) Board of Directors and is a former Chair of the Radio Board. In addition, Ms. Beasley serves as a member of the Broadcasters Foundation of America Board of Directors.

In April of 2022, she received the National Association of Broadcaster’s “National Radio Award” for her dedication and commitment to the radio industry at the annual NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In 2017, Ms. Beasley was honored by Radio Ink magazine as “Radio Executive of the Year” and has been consistently ranked among the top five “40 Most Powerful People in Radio” by the publication. In addition, she has been featured in the magazine’s “Most Influential Women in Radio” issue on an annual basis since 2003. 

Ms. Beasley is a past recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters and the Frances Preston Trailblazer Award from the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group (MIW), a national organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of women to senior positions in the radio industry. In 2019, she was honored with the “Horizon Award” for her visionary industry leadership during the Media Institute’s Annual Free Speech Gala. 

Ms. Beasley earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina.
