Jean Dietze

Jean Dietze is President, Affiliate Relations, NBC Broadcasting, a position she has held since 2015. Dietze serves as the network’s chief liaison with its affiliated stations nationwide.
Before her elevation to President, Dietze was appointed Executive Vice President, Affiliate Relations when Comcast purchased NBCU in 2011. Previously she was Senior Vice President of Affiliate Relations from 2009 and served as Vice President of the team from 1992.

Dietze has spent her entire professional career at NBC starting as a secretary in the sales department in 1973 before moving to the Sales Service area when the company was owned by RCA. Under General Electric’s ownership of NBC she served as Vice President, TV Network Services until 1992. She was responsible for the tracking and servicing of station clearances, sales inventory and advertiser billing.
Dietze is a graduate of Fordham University in the Bronx. She lives in Ramsey, NJ, with her husband of 44 years, Carl. She is the mother of
Michael who works for NBC Sports in Stamford, CT, and of Carl J., who was a police officer in Washington, D.C., and tragically passed away in 2007 at the age of 25.
Upon retirement from NBC this year, Dietze plans on expanding her involvement with the Shriners Hospitals for Children and with the Salesians of Don Bosco.
